Makalu Botanical Trekking is most attractive and diversified Bio-diversity among all the conserved area in Nepal. This botanical trek protect the plants and animals which has become the main attractive destination towards the all the trekkers. This is place is the home of the rare animals such a Red Panda, Snow Leopard, Himalayan Black bear and Gray Leopard . One of the main appeals of this place is the unbeatable display of the rhododendrons on the way to the Makalu. Everywhere in this region, we can come across splendid Himalayan orchids and other wild flowers including many valuable medicinal plants. Likewise animals can be indefinable across the area but bird’s life is plentiful while Deer and wild sheep often spotted.

Makalu Botanical Trek is located in Makalu Barun National Park and Conservation Area that situated in the Solukhumbhu and Sankhuwasabha district. It was established in 1992 and formally opened in 1992. Where, you can observe the incredible view of the Mt. Makalu (8,463m) which is the world 5th highest peak, Chamlang Himala and Barun Valley are the main attraction of this region. It has massive range of latitudinal and climatic variations; the Makalu Barun gives us an incredible and massive diverse habitat for a rich variety of flora and fauna. Plants of all vital ecological zones tropical, sub-tropical, temperate, alpine and sub-alpine are also found. The park is the home of the enrich variety of the wildlife whereas being enrich in natural paradise that consist of remarkable mountains, pristine forest and wide variety of plants, animals life and the lifestyle of the inhabitants their culture and warm hospitality.

1 Day 01

 

Arrive at Kathmandu Airport 1,400m Welcoming by Sucess trek Member and direct transfer to hotel in Kathmandu.

2 Day 02

Sightseeing in Kathmandu valley

3 Day 03

Fly to Tumlingtar and trek to Khandbari. Altitude1020m 3/4hrs walk.

4 Day 04

Trek to Chichila. Altitude 1,840m 4 hrs walk

5 Day 05

Trek to Num. Altitude 1,490m 5-hrs walk.

6 Day 06

Trek to Sedua. Altitude 1,540m  5-hrs walk.

7 Day 07

Trek to Tashi Gaon. Altitude 2,020m 5hrs walk.

8 Day 08

Trek to Kahuma Danda. Altitude 3,560m 5-hrs walk.

9 Day 09

Trek to Mumbuk. Altitude 3,550m 6.30-hrs walk.

10 Day 10

Trek to Nehe Kharka. Altitude 3,600m 5-hrs walk.

11 Day 11

Trek to Sherson. Altitude 4,810 5hrs walk.

12 Day 12

Rest day, Explore around Makalu Base Camp or hike to Baruntse Base Camp.

13 Day 13

Trek to Yangle Kharka. Altitude3,600m 5-hrs walk.
