Outline Itinerary

1 1. Arrive Delhi

Arrive Delhi Meeting & Assistance at the Airport, Transfer to the booked Hotel.

2 2 Delhi - sightseeing

Morning after breakfast full day sight seeing tour of Sahajahanabad, now known as Old Delhi. Visit Raj Ghat the cremation site of Mahatma Gandhi, Jama Musjid – the largest mosque of India, Red Fort, President’s house and the Secretariat buildings, India Gate – The War Memorial, Qutub Minar and Lotus Temple (also known as Bahai Temple).

 

3 3 Delhi – Agra drive (220 kms / 5hrs.)


Morning after early breakfast drive to Agra. Afternoon visit Agra Fort built by Akbar and later extended by Jahangir and Shah Jahan. Evening visit SUNSET view of the world famous Mausoleum – The Taj Mahal – An unique epitome of Love built by Mughal Emperor Shahjahan in 1630 for his queen Mumtaz Mahal to enshrine her mortal remains. A Sahajahan”s drop of tear on the cheek of Time that has now crystallized. Overnight at Hotel.

 

4 4 Agra – Jaipur (245 KMS / 6hrs. )


Morning after breakfast drive to Jaipur. Enroute visit the deserted city at Fatehpur Sikri(40 KMS from Agra) built by Emperor Akbar in 1569 and abandoned it just after 15 years due to the scarcity of water. Visit the graceful buildings – The punch Mahal, Anup Talab,Diwan-e- Khas, Tomb of the holy saint Salim Chisti,Buland Darwaza and other important palaces where one experiences not only the Architectural brilliance but also its perfect fusion. Continue drive to Jaipur.
Overnight at the hotel in Jaipur.

5 5 In Jaipur

Early morning at 0700hrs. visit to Amber Fort, the ancient Capital of the state until 1728. Enjoy the Elephant ride up to the hill on which the Fort is situated. Visit the Jagmandir or the hall of victory, Jaimahal (Look at the beautiful mirror work and intricate inlay work) and the Temple of Goddess Kali. Later city sightseeing tour visiting Maharaja’s City Palace and the Observatory. Drive past Hawa Mahal or the Palace of winds through the rose – pink residential and business areas of Jaipur. Evening free for independent activities. Overnight at the hotel.

 

6 6 Jaipur – Delhi (265 KMS / 6 hrs.)

Morning after breakfast, drive back to Delhi.
Overnight at hotel.

 

7 7 Delhi – Europe fly (rooms will be provided till 1200hrs.) DELHI

A symbol of the country’s rich past and prosperous present, Delhi is a city where ancient and modern blend absolute together. It is a place that not only touches your pulse but even fastens it to a energetic speed. A direct reflection of Delhi’s rich history is its magnificent monuments.

 

Trip Facts

Delhi has great architectural wonders, three declared as World Heritage Monuments, Qutub Minar, Humanyun’s Tomb and Red Fort. Humayun’s Tomb and the 72.5 meter tall Qutub Minar are architectural marvels in Delhi. Lal Quila which was built by great Mughal emperor Shah Jahan, and is surrounded by a wall of about 2.4 Kilometers in circumference and is built of red sandstone.

On other hand Jama Masjid is another architectural gift given to delhi by Shah Jahan. It is one of the largest mosques in India. The Akshardham Temple and Bahai Temple (Lotus Temple) attracts thousands of visitors daily. There are various monuments in Delhi that are reminiscent of the British colonial architecture. Some of these structures are Rashtrapati Bhavan the Secretariat, the Rajpath, and the Parliament of India. Other famous monuments include India’s war memorial, the India Gate, an 18th century astronomical observatory, the Jantar Mantar and a 5th century BC fortress, the Purana Qila.
AGRA

Agra is a famous tourist city in Uttar Pradesh state of India. It is located on the bank of Yamuna River. It is known worldwide due to Taj Mahal which is counted among 7 wonders of the world. From tourism point of view, Agra have 3 UNESCO world heritage sites i.e. Taj Mahal, Agra Fort and abandoned city “Fatehpur Sikri”. Jama Masjid also known as Friday Masjid Itimad-Ud-Daulah’s Tomb.

In Agra City there are well known Mankameshwar Mandir Related to God Shiva and Soami bagh is the Hindu religious tourist attraction and on the other hand, for the nature lover there are many Gardens As “Ram Bagh” old Name was Aram Bagh and Mehtab Bagh which is also called as Moonlight Bagh. Babur died in Aaram Bagh and his body was kept here before sending it to Kabul. These tourist attractions plays important role in giving reason, why to visit Agra.
JAIPUR

Jaipur (the pink city) capital of royal state of Rajasthan. The city was founded by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II, in the year 1727. Before Jaipur, the small city of Amber enjoyed the title of capital of Rajasthan. Amber is at a mere 11 kms distance from the main city of Jaipur.

Jaipur is ranked amongst the first planned city of India. The credit for planning the city goes to none other than Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II. The pink city is known for many fabulous Rajputana styled forts and palaces. Jaipur is home to two UNESCO World Heritage Sites- the Jantar Mantar and the Amer Fort. Major structures are constructed using the pink-painted sandstone, and the city has several tourist attractions. International tourists visit Rajasthan, particularly Jaipur and get fascinated by its charm.

The forts and palaces of Jaipur are not just magnificent but have special place in the history. These forts and palaces are visited by tourists in high numbers. The architectures like Amber Fort, Jal Mahal, say a lot about Rajputana architectural style. The famous Jantar Mantar of Jaipur is an observatory and indeed a great architectural symbol altogether.
