One Of Popular Trails recently discovered Khare Lake Trekking is an alternative trekking trail in Annapurna region situated between Annapurna Base Camp and Jomsom trekking trail. It is a recently popularized beautiful Trekking route with mix culture of Gurung and Magar people and phenomenal mountain views over some of these Himalayas including Mt. Annapurna , Nilgiri and Dhaulagiri from Khopra Ridge and Poon Hill. Beside the scenic variety of the peaks, the warm hospitality of the Gurung people along the way of Khair Lake.Trekking is well off the beaten trail in the widely popular Annapurna Region which consists of remote mountain ridges, rhododendron forest on the hill sides and to visit traditional villages. From the mesmerizing Pokhara our Trip starts in the lower, more temperate region of forested Gurung and Magar villages as we go up the hilly areas. As we move up high through the hills of rhododendron woodlands the views of Annapurna South, Himchuli and Machhapuchhre are beyond your expectations. when we reach the Khopra Ridge our spot of camping is right below Mt. Annapurna. from where we make a round to the sacred lake above Khair, witnessing a whole new wonderful alpine experience. On the way back to Pokhara, we follow the routes of the Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek and ABC Trek itinerary for experiencing one of the most promising panaromic views of the Annapurna area or we can also go with the alternative trail to head down to Tatopani from Khopra ridge that is situated on the middle of the way to Jomsom Muktinath Trek or Annapurna Circuit Trail part two. At Tatopani we can reside for a while to enjoy the natural warmness of the naturally generated hot spring pool and end our trek then drive back to Pokhara.
