Lobuche west peak (6,135m) climbing is one of the most popular trekking peaks of Nepal, which is considered as remarkable summit that provides us several routes to ascend the Lobuche West peak. However its normal route to summit the Lobuche West along the South Ridge. The dark triangle of its rocky east face rises over the moraines of the Khumbu glacier to a splendid skyline forming the South ridge.
The Lobuche West peak is situated in the Khumbu Himal range of the Everest region. The summit of Lobuche West peak is considered as most challenging and technical as the Lobuche East peak. It is also taller than its eastern part, with an altitude of 6,135m. There was only Lobuche East Peak climbing was allowed among the trekkers because Western peak required expedition permit. However, Lobuche West peak was recently opened by the Nepal Mountaineering Association among all those amateurs of trekkers or climbers who is seeking for adventurous and most challenging trails towards Nepal.
The Lobuche West peak is known as an expedition peak and Lobuche East peak is recognized as Trekking peak climbing in Nepal. We will head along the Everest Base Camp trekking trail up to Pheriche, then trek continues towards Dughla, Kusum Kangru Base Camp with an altitude of 4,950m. Base camp will be set up near to a lake in rocky hollow at the base of the glaciated South-west face. Where you can observe majestic Himalayan views of Amadablam, Thamserku, Cholaste, Kantega peak and Tawache peak etc. we climb along the steep stone terraces and snow slopes just below the main glaciers on the south-west face of overlooking Lobuche and Khumbu glacier where we fix the high camp.
